Error message, directs me to billing page

Whenever I enter my API key for OpenAI, I get the error message saying I have to check my plan and it says I have exceeded my quota. First of all, it's my first time using this site, how can it be I've 'exceeded' my quota? When I try to change it to any other GPT-model it says that the model doesn't exist.

OpenAI no longer offers many things, including post-pay. You now have to add credit to your openAI account before you can use it, instead of how it used to be where you could pay later.
Either way - this is an OpenAI issue, not a chatpad issue. ChatPad is simply responding with the info it gets from OpenAI.

Same issue here. I'm on the free plan, but am able to use GPT fine on their site. But trying online and on the Chatpad app I get the error: "You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details.". Made a new API key and still the same thing. Really a bummer as this seems like a great app. Hope this can be resolved and I can recommend this app to people soon.

I have the same problem. Although I have created a valid plan and a new API Key for Chatpad it is always rejected when I enter it.
